Where does my money go?

Wheredoesmymoneygo.org encourages transparency and free access to information online.

Wheredoesmymoneygo.org was founded in 2009 and is a non-partisan project by the Open Knowledge Foundation, which encourages transparency and free access to information online. The website shows in detail and in a simply presented way where and how the British government spends its tax revenues. Wheredoesmymoneygo aims to foster trust and thus to encourage people to engage in civil society. The fact that even national governments are pushing transparency initiatives shows how strong the trend has become.
